Courses
The programme includes 28 weeks of classes. It is divided into four periods known as POP (Phase of Progress) periods in which the levels of the programme are completed. The durations of these POP periods are 7 weeks for each period. The duration of Upper- intermediate levels which start in POP 1 and POP 3 is 14 weeks for each semester.
The programme comprises four levels which correspond with Common European Framework classifications. The first level, Foundation, is A1 and Pre-intermediate level is A2. The following level, Intermediate, is B1 and the exit level, Upper-intermediate, is B2.
Students are required to pass the level that they have completed in any given POP period in order to progress to the next level or, in the case of Upper-intermediate students, be entitled to sit DÜİYES.
